Boundaries that Bloom: A Sneak Peek Inside the Friday Faith Five

It’s Friday afternoon, and if your soul feels a little wilted, you’re not alone.

That’s why I created the Friday Faith Five—a 5-minute sanctuary delivered straight to your inbox to help you breathe, reflect, and reconnect with God before the weekend begins. It’s for women who want to root their week in spiritual rest and gentle strength.

Here’s a free sneak peek from a recent issue.

If it speaks to your heart, you’re invited to try your first month free and join a growing community of women cultivating faith-filled lives from the inside out.

It’s Friday afternoon, and your inner garden is ready for some boundary love. 💛

Instead of letting that transition time slip into people-pleasing, let’s meet God in the garden together.

Ready to grow?

Your 5-minute sanctuary starts now.

🌳 BOUNDARIES that Bloom

Today we’re rooting ourselves in healthy boundaries—a gentle strength that protects what’s growing within.

Like a sturdy garden fence keeping deer from devouring tender shoots, boundaries preserve the beautiful life God is growing in you.

👀 If you’re outside or near a window, find a tree with bark.

👋 Touch the bark (or imagine it). How does it feel?

Is it strong? Firm? Reliable?

Notice how the bark protects the life flowing inside.

🔓 BOUNDARIES are Freedom

The tree doesn’t apologize for its bark.
And there’s no need to apologize for protecting your inner garden, where peace, joy, love, and gratitude are designed to grow.

The same wisdom that teaches trees to guard their life force is always available to you, too:

🙏 Hello, Holy Spirit.

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
— Proverbs 4:23

🪞 BOUNDARIES in Reflection

Take a deep breath and reflect:

  • What drained your energy this week that you said “yes” to—but your heart said “no”?
  • How can you protect your inner garden moving into this weekend?

🌿 BOUNDARIES Moving Forward

👀 This weekend, notice how nature sets boundaries everywhere—

  • Meadows stop where trees begin.
  • Leaves grow only from stems.
  • Flowers close at night to rest.
  • Tree trunks start just above the grass.

👋 Practice saying, “Let me check my schedule and get back to you,” instead of offering an instant yes or no.
It gives you time to listen to your spirit first.

💛 BOUNDARIES are FOR You

Sweet friend, may you carry this boundary blessing into your family time.
Remember: Saying no to good things can create space for God things.

See you in the garden here next Friday.
